Day Trading or Swing Trading Online?
Profitable day traders recognize that momentum trading is among the fastest & most effective ways to harvest BIG piles of cash in the stock market.
Day Trading the Index Futures
If the SP futures fall through support and go straight down for another two points, and I want to get short, should I a.)enter immediately, b.) two points below support, or c.)should I wait for a pullback and then try to get short?
Day Trading the SP Futures with Initial S/R and the NYSE TICK
For instance, if the market moves up in the first 20 minutes of trading, touches the initial resistance zone, and then turns down, this implies that a good tradable downtrend move is likely to develop. How strong that new trend becomes is market-dependent. As the market falls, its reaction to each new support zone gives an indication of how weak or strong the new downtrend is. If the market falls to initial support and breaks down through it without a stall or a bounce, it will probably continue down to the next level of support. But, if the market loses downside momentum near the initial support zone, the downtrend may well be over.
Day Trading Success - The Key Is Survival
I can't give you a list of mechanical survival rules that will take the place of experience and make you a successful day trader overnight, but if you stick to the following principles in your trading, you'll be on track. You'll be doing just about the opposite of the crowd, and you'll eventually learn to limit your losses. Limiting your losses is the only way I know to make money in this business.
5 Day Trading Tips for Success
The way I trade, I exit as quickly as possible. There's no sense in waiting around for your "stop-loss" to get triggered when the perceived edge is gone. I like to stay in control of my trades, and if the market doesn't do as anticipated, I don't wait for my stop to get hit.
Day Trading Stocks....How to choose the best momentum stocks?
A successful momentum trading strategy needs to be simple and practical in order to help you, as oposed to the complicated technical systems that can make you slow in your decision making process or confuse you with information overload right from the start.
Developing a Casino Mentality for the Day Trader
I submit that the successful day trader would profit well to adopt a casino mentality. At first glance, this sounds reckless and nothing more than a gambling attitude - but it’s not. Why? Because everyone knows that it’s the casinos that profit and take in all the money on a consistent basis. And, of course, the patrons end up losing even after brief winning streaks.
